Preparing believers for the Army of God

In these ever changing times the church needs to adjust its strategy to meet the challenges we are facing. For too long we have safely and confidently enjoyed our freedoms enclosed in the four walls of our sanctuaries, only to lose valuable ground to the world. The world has molded the minds of our young, destroyed the morals of humanity, and stolen the seven mountains of influence, all the while as the church became complacent and fragmented.

The Church is actually referred to as the SOLDIERS OF CHRIST and bearing this in mind the Lord is now raising up His army for this new season. He has removed the comfort of the four walls of our buildings and now preparing us for the battle.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.”

Ephesians 6:10-18 speaks of the Christian putting on the full ARMOR OF GOD

WE are engaged in a spiritual battle that has been raging from since time began.

The reason so many believers are walking around with deep wounds and some are defeated is because:

Many are not adequately prepared for this war
The best way to be prepared is to be trained and equipped
We must know why we are fighting and with whom we are waging war against.

THIS IS THE SEASON MANY OF YOU MUST DECIDE TO ENLIST INTO GOD’S ARMY AND GO THROUGH BOOT CAMP.

In the military Basic Training — often called boot camp — prepares recruits for all elements of service: physical, mental and emotional. It gives service members the basic tools necessary to perform the roles that will be assigned to them for the duration of their tour. Each of the Services has its own training program, tailoring the curriculum to the specialized nature of its role in the Military.

Much like the military, the church needs to enlist, train and prepare new recruits spiritually, mentally, emotionally and even physically to meet the challenges facing us today.
